For over 25 years, we have been an
integral part of the growth of Hydraulic Repair and Design, one of the
largest hydraulic repair and design facilities in North America.
From the very beginning back in 1975, our customers requested our help
in tackling the root cause or source of premature component breakdown of
their equipment.
After initial research as well as our own
diagnostics of the equipment that came though our facility, it was
confirmed that at least 70% to 80% of the failures were due to
contamination from two basic areas:
1. Particle (dirt/wear metals)
Contamination
2. Water Contamination
Then after years of numerous in-house
bench testing as well as customer field trials, we successfully
met this challenge through a proactive maintenance program of oil
analysis and aggressive 1-micron filtration.
Results? The Port of Tacoma reduced
their annual hydraulic related maintenance costs by 82% over a four year
period. (1994-1997)
These dramatic improvements continue to
go right to the bottom line of their company, providing that proactive
maintenance can deliver seriously enhanced profits to a company like
